had a secret.
Every evening, he went down to his basement to work on his
secret project.
Finally the night came when his work was finished.
“Wait
till morning comes. I’ll surprise everyone in Caterpillar
Village with my
new invention! Of all my secret projects, I’m sure
they’ll agree that this one’s my best.”

“Seymour was embarrassed.
“Why am I the only one?” he cried to Mother Nature.
“Every winter, when I lose my leaves,
I
can't stop blushing! Look at Oak, Willow
and Maple. How can they stand there
with nothing on all winter long
without getting
embarrassed? It’s not easy being a shy tree.”
