Callie the
Caterpillar © 2004
by Richie and Linda Pollock
Callie
the caterpillar is an inventor. In this story, Callie leaves
behind something he loves, gains something so much better, and
we see that, as an inventor, Callie never really changes at
all.
The back
of this book contains a fun activity section for kids to
enjoy. This story of Callie has
also been written as a poem, story song and musical.
The
fabulous illustrations, by Gary Wein of Toronto, makes the
characters and landscape come alive
with so much visual enjoyment. You can see more of his great
artwork in LOVE AND
MAGIC’s
children’s book “SEYMOUR’S WINTER LEAVES”, as well as
on the cover of their CD entitled
“TALES OF LOVE AND MAGIC – Spoken Word and Song”.
